Aurangzeb was the Mughal King at that time and he was forcibly converting Hindus to Islam. Guru Sahib came to Patna and then left for Punjab. During this travel news came about the birth of his son Gobind Rai at Patna. The Path of Guru Granth Sahib starts with Japji Sahib and ends with Salok Mahala 9. Salok Mahala 9 has a special significance for they are last and final updesh embodied in Sri Guru Granth Sahib and for that matter, these Sloks may be said to contain the epitome of the teachings. These Divine Hymns were added in Guru Granth Sahib by Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib composed 116 Divine Hymns in 15 Ragas. He met many Saints, Faqirs and Scholars and had discourses. At all places he visited, Akal Purakh's message was spread. Guru Sahib started extensive travel covering eastern India, Bengal and Assam. He founded a new town and named 'Chak Nanaki'. Guru Sahib came to Kiratpur Sahib and later purchased Makhoval territory from Deep Chander who was ruler of Bilaspur. Baba Gurditta Ji grandson of Baba Budha Ji put a Tilak on the forehead of Guru Sahib and he became 9+ Guru Sahib at the age of 44 years. Noble and devoted Sikhs waiting for their 9th Guru came there and paid respect to Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib. He loudly announced from the rooftop ''Guru Ladho Re, Guru Ladho Re'. After meeting all fake and self made Gurus realised that there is one pious person who is not in the race knew exactly what had happened to him and how his ship was saved. One day a business man Bhai Makhan Shah Lubana whose ship was saved while praying to Akal Purakh came to Bakala in search of the pious Guru. In the village Bakala many of the greedy and scheming relatives flocked there claiming the rights to Guru Gaddi. At the time of shuffling his mortal coil in the year 1664 he uttered the word bwbw bkwly (Baba Bakale) by which he expressed his desire for Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib to succeed him to his position as 9th Guru Sahib. Guru Har Rai Sahib further gave the responsibility to spread the Divine message to Guru Harkrishan Sahib his younger son at a tender age of 5 years. Guru Hargobind Sahib before leaving for Eternal Abode gave the responsibility as 7Th Guru to Har Rai Sahib who was son of Baba Gurditta Ji. There most of the time he had spent in deep meditation. On the instructions of Guru Hargobind Sahib his mother Bibi Nanaki Ji took him to Bakala village where he lived for approx. From his childhood he used to spend lot of time in meditation. At a very young age he was married to Mata Gujri Ji daughter of Bhai Lal Chand of Kartarpur. He had one Sister Bibi Veero and four brothers Baba Surajmal, Baba Gurditta, Baba Aneerai and Baba Atal. Guru Hargobind Sahib our 6th Guru and Bibi Nanaki were the parents. Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib was born on 1st April 1621.
